By choosing to celebrate the achievement of Penn State graduates, you honor the contributions students have made in their time at the University. These instructions will answer the questions you might have concerning commencement and help to make the conferral of your students’ degrees a memorable and joyous experience for you all.
For future commencement ceremonies, please see the general schedule.
For commencement ceremonies located at one of our other campuses, please see the instructions for your campus.
For Spring Commencement, please see further instructions for your college.
Faculty wishing to participate in any of the commencement ceremonies should report to the appropriate building (see the Commencement Schedule) and then proceed to the designated faculty area. Arrive at the site at least 20 minutes prior to the ceremony along with your academic regalia. A University Marshal will be present to assist and place faculty in the academic procession.
If you wish to rent regalia, contact the Penn State Bookstore (814-863-0206).
